How do I clean the stainless steel bottle properly?

Our stainless steel bottles can be conveniently cleaned in the dishwasher – including the lid and with all standard programs.

If you prefer handwashing, please avoid aggressive detergents, hard brushes, or abrasive sponges, as these can damage the paintwork or surface.

For gentle cleaning, we recommend a soft dishcloth in combination with mild dish soap – this will keep your stainless steel drinking bottle beautiful and hygienically clean for a long time.

How much volume does the VIOK stainless steel bottle hold?

The VIOK stainless steel bottle offers a total volume of 1.3 liters and a maximum carbonation volume of exactly 1.0 liter up to the fill line.

This means it holds around 25% more content than conventional plastic or glass bottles for soda makers – ideal for keeping your sparkling water fresh and stylish in a compact 1 L stainless steel bottle.

Does the water stay cooler longer in the stainless steel bottle?

Our bottle made of high-quality 304 stainless steel keeps your water noticeably cooler for longer than conventional plastic or glass bottles. The material creates a natural insulating effect that better preserves the temperature.

The bottle is single-walled to allow for a full capacity of 1.0 L with a compact size and low weight. A double-walled version would be significantly heavier and would also be harder to cool down.

For the best carbonation results with your Aarke or other soda makers, we recommend chilling the filled bottle in the refrigerator before carbonating – because cold water binds CO₂ particularly effectively.

My Active Loop is very tight - is that normal? What helps?

The Active Loop is made of flexible silicone, making it stretchable. If it feels a bit tight initially, you can simply stretch or widen it carefully by hand – with each use, it will become easier to pull over the bottle neck.

The snug fit is intentional, ensuring that the Active Loop provides a secure grip even on a full stainless steel bottle and prevents the bottle from slipping or falling out.

What material is the VIOK Active Loop made of?

The Active Loop is made from 100% food-grade silicone.

Shipping & Delivery

Can I have my order delivered to a DHL Packstation?

Yes, you can have your order delivered to a DHL Packstation without any problems.

Please make sure to enter your Postnummer correctly when placing your order – this is the only way for the shipment to be delivered successfully. Without a Postnummer, delivery to a Packstation is unfortunately not possible.

I live outside Germany - Can I still order?

How can I track my order?

You can track the status of your order at any time.

To do this, simply click on the tracking link you received in your shipping confirmation email. This way, you'll always know where your package is.

Returns & Refunds

What can I do if my goods are damaged or defective?

Should your order arrive damaged or defective, please contact our customer service with your order number. We will take care of the damage and discuss the next steps for an exchange or replacement.

How do I return my order?

Incorrect or defective items:

If you have received an incorrect or defective item, please contact our customer service directly. We will provide quick and uncomplicated assistance to resolve the issue.

Returns / Revocation:

If you wish to return items because they do not meet your expectations, please use our returns portal: https://shopify.com/91621556557/account

The portal is exclusively available to customers of our online shop.

You have the right to revoke your purchase agreement within 30 days of receiving the goods. A refund of the purchase price will be issued for returned items as soon as the return has been received and processed in our warehouse – usually within 14 days.

The refund will be issued to the payment method you used for the order. For credit card payments, the credit will appear on your next credit card statement.

How long does a refund take after a return?

For returned items, you will receive a refund of the purchase price.

The credit will be issued as soon as your return has been received and processed in our warehouse – usually within a few business days.

Please allow up to 14 days before contacting us regarding this matter.

Refunds are always made to the payment method you used for the original order. For credit card payments, the refund will appear on your next credit card statement.

If a refund has not been issued after 14 days, please feel free to contact us – we will be happy to help you quickly and easily.

Problems & Solutions

My package wasn't delivered – what can I do?


Please first check the tracking information to see what details are provided there regarding the shipping issue.

Then, contact the customer support of the respective shipping service provider (DHL or Hermes) and have your tracking number ready.

Once the package has been handed over to the shipping service provider, we, as the retailer, unfortunately have no direct way to influence the delivery ourselves.

I haven't received my newsletter voucher – what can I do?

If you haven't received the discount code, please check your email's spam folder first.

Normally, the voucher is sent within a few minutes of registration. However, T-Online addresses can often experience delays or problems.

If you still do not receive the voucher code, please contact us directly – we will help you quickly.

The bottle cap scratches or grinds – is that normal?

The lid is made entirely of stainless steel, as we deliberately avoid plastic. A slight scratching or grinding sound when closing is therefore completely normal and harmless.

However, should the lid be stiff, please contact us with your order number – we will help you quickly and easily.

My water tastes metallic – is that normal?

It is normal for stainless steel bottles to occasionally have a metallic taste after production. In most cases, this disappears after one wash cycle in the dishwasher.

If the taste persists, fill the bottle with lukewarm water and add a teaspoon of baking soda. After an exposure time of approximately 2 hours, you can rinse the bottle again – this should resolve the issue.

Why does my water have too little carbonation after sparkling?

Be careful not to overfill the bottle. Too much water prevents sufficient carbonation from entering the water and can even cause water to be pushed back from the appliance into the sparkling water maker.

Regardless of the appliance, it is always recommended to perform two full carbonation cycles until the venting sound is heard – with a few seconds in between.

Short, pulsed carbonation usually leads to a weak carbonation result.
